There are lots of hiking/cycling trails and great opportunity for wildlife sightings. We had a lovely view from the upper campground. This is just a nice all round park.
This park is clean and management is helpful. WiFi is available but costs $6 for a 12 hr block. We have stayed at less expensive campgrounds that offer it at no extra charge. Cable costs extra as well. There is a phone line available, however, all dial-up is long distance. We were there in late April. Even though temps were in 80's the pool wasn't open yet.
This is very clean, welcoming campground. They have an indoor pool and a separate fenced in "play yard" for the dogs. There is a campfire on Friday & Saturday evenings.
This park advertises a pool, however it is an above ground type and there wasn't any water in it. The campground has a dilapadated feel to it. Thankfully we were spending one night. We would have looked elsewhere if staying in Ft Stockton longer.
We stopped here as it was a Passpot America park. It was so dilapadated and unappealing that we did not stay. The shower consisted of a run down looking single wood structure. There are gutted buildings. It didn't have a very good feel to it and is within a few feet of I-40. Light sleepers beware.
